Graphic designer/social media volunteer

At SPIN (Single Parent Information Network), we are updating our website that provides information to single parents about the unique challenges of single parenting.

We’re looking for a graphic designer/social media volunteer who can support us with:

• Full brand identity development
• Visual language and design of the next version of our website
• Social media graphics & templates
• Promotional materials
• Banners & posters
• Brochures & leaflets

Skills

People who:

• Have graphic design skills (professional or self‑taught — both welcome)
• Can work collaboratively with a small, passionate team
• You don’t need charity experience — just creativity, passion and a willingness to help us build something powerful
• initiative

• good communication of attendance and progress

Practical Considerations

SPIN undertakes DBS checks and referencing

There will be a trial/probationary period in order to ensure you and SPIN are a good fit.

We understand that volunteers may have commitments whether job seeking, caring or parenting responsibilities but we would need some time with you in our office on Fridays specifically mornings when you would be able to discuss the role and requirements with your supervisor who volunteers mornings

Supporting individuals with additional support needs and/or disabilities

We offer a volunteer role that is hybrid but would like to have you attend our office in central Brighton that has lifts, accessible facilities, ground floor access
